Regents Theological College has a received a Science for Seminaries award/funding from Equipping Christian Leadership in an Age of Science (ECLAS) for the academic years 2021-22 and 2022-23. ECLAS works to equip Christian leaders with the tools they need to engage with cutting-edge science. Funded by the Templeton Religion Trust (TRT), ECLAS focuses on empowering leadership to better inform personal faith, public speech, and policy work. Led from St John’s College, Durham University in partnership with the University of York and the Church of England, the £3.4million grant from TRT running 2020-22 supports our research, conferences, grant programmes, and policy work. Science for Seminaries provides a critical link between senior leaders, congregations, and the broader world by bringing world-class science and science-engaged theology into theological education around the UK.
